The first step of many is complete

We finished the invites up and they should be going out in the mail this afternoon. Hope we gave everyone enough time to make plans to come and join us for the 2nd annual Memorial Weekend Bash. This year the dates are May 22nd - May 25th with the "Big Bash" scheduled on Sunday, May 24th. Our favorite DJ in the whole world, Big John and his lovely assistant Little Andi (or maybe it is the other way around? lol) has agreed to come back and play for us again, guess we didn't scare them off after all.
For lodging, we have provided a couple links for you. We have personally stayed or know people who have stayed at all of these facilities. If you are wanting to camp in our yard let us know so we can plan.

Time to re-stock Duluth's beer supply

Well.......I bowled with my head up my butt, but we had a blast. I drank a whole bunch of "Aiming Fluid" but it obviously wasn't enough and Joel being a wonderful husband even tried helping me out by consuming his share of "Aiming Fluid" for me. We had the biggest cheering section of all!! I think Sheldon tried to drink Duluth's supply of Bailys.

State Bowling Tournament

I know this has nothing to do with the lake, but today Joel, Sheldon, Nancy & myself are heading up to Duluth, MN so that us girls can bowl in the State Women's Bowling Tournament. As the saying goes.......I hope to god I don't bowl with my head up my butt!!
Let's pray for this continued warm weather and if Mother Nature decides to cooperate, maybe.....just maybe we could open the cabin next weekend. Last weekend Joel, Rita and myself took a quick day trip up to meet with a well drilling company to get a bid for the new well we are drilling this spring and there was hardly any snow left. It gave us the bug big time. Come on' spring!!!!!
